Scotch-test
The use of a modern scotch-test allows you to see the causative agent of the disease under a microscope without damaging the skin. In this method, to obtain the material, agents are used to loosen the upper layer of the skin, which is then easily peeled off with scotch tape. In addition to assessing the prevalence and stages of development of Demodex mites, this method also allows diagnosing a fungal infection (dermatomycosis).
